The Wisconsin Engineering Student Council serves to enhance the college experience for every engineering student; we do this by hosting fun events, professional development opportunities, and supporting student organizations! We need sponsors like you to help us fund these endeavors and keep the Badger community connected with employers.

Noteworthy Events:

  • E-Bash – This event is an engineering student organization fair designed to recruit undergraduates to various organizations associated with the College of Engineering. It allows students to form personal and professional relationships with organization leaders to help better prepare themselves for their future careers.

  • Professional Skills Week – This event allows students to grow professionally as they have the chance to meet potential employers, learn how to develop resumes, and practice their interview skills in order to better prepare for internships, co-ops, and full-time job opportunities.

  • Unwind Your Mind – This event was created to allow students to destress before final exams and provide giveaway items to fuel them through their last week of school. It features lawn games, a spin-the-wheel component, and gives students the opportunity to share feedback on how WESC can further help improve the student experience for engineers on campus.

  • And many other fun, professional, and diversity oriented events!

Our Influence:

All of WESC’s events are open to the roughly 6000 students in UW-Madison’s College of Engineering. Of these, over 460 are members of WESC as part of our mailing list, and more are joining every day!
